The film follows Lela, a solar astrophysicist who fled Russian-occupied Georgia and rebuilt her life in Costa Rica. As she nears retirement and faces a degenerative illness, her lifelong study of the sun’s death becomes entangled with reflections on her own mortality. A story of science, migration, and memory.
